1. Shoulder Kinematics and Impingement. Dynamic Radiostereometric analysis of the shoulder
Abstract : Abstract This study aimed to evaluate the three-dimensional kinematics of the shoulder joint in patients with shoulder impingement and controls with focus on three well known diagnostic tests; painful arc test (active abduction), Neer sign (passive elevation) and Hawkins sign. The shoulder rhythm, the speed of motion and if successful treatment of impingement could be associated with changes of the shoulder kinematics were studied Dynamic radiostereometry (RSA) is feasible method to study rotations and translations of the gleonohumeral joint because of its high precision. 2. Heat and Mass Transfer in Impingement Cooking. Aspects of Food Quality
Abstract : Hot air impingement is a special form of forced convection, where the air is focused through the use of nozzles at a surface. In combination with rather high air velocities, a jet like phenomenon can evolve, which when used in for example cooking can achieve high heat transfer capacities. An Impingement oven prototype was constructed. READ MORE

3. Femoroacetabular Impingement: The Pursuit of Evidence
Abstract : Femoroacetabular Impingement (FAI) is an important cause of hip pain in the young adult. It is the result of abnormal contact between the femoral head and neck junction and the acetabular rim. READ MORE

4. The Supraspinatus Tendon : Clinical and histopathological aspects
Abstract : The supraspinatus tendon is an important structure of the rotator cuff. Subacromial impingement is a common reason for shoulder pain. Despite extensive scientific work in this field, the cause of impingement syndrome is still not fully understood. READ MORE

5. Numerical Simulations of Cooling Concepts Related to Gas Turbine Combustors
Abstract : The mean by which a gas turbine combustor is cooled is of major importance for the efficiency and emission performance of the machine. The trends of increasing top cycle temperature and leaner combustion have also been accompanied by a need of efficient use of the cooling air. READ MORE
