1. Development of a new service-oriented modelling method for information systems analysis and design
Abstract : This thesis presents a new modelling method for information systems analysis and design, where the concept of service and the principles of service orientation are used for integrated modelling and reasoning about information systems architectures across organisational and technical systems boundaries. The concept of service enables cohesion of the intersubjective and objective modelling traditions by using a single type of diagram that facilitates detection of semantic inconsistency, incompleteness, ambiguity and discontinuity between the static and dynamic aspects of information systems specifications. 2. Advancing Automation in Digital Forensic Investigations
Abstract : Digital Forensics is used to aid traditional preventive security mechanisms when they fail to curtail sophisticated and stealthy cybercrime events. The Digital Forensic Investigation process is largely manual in nature, or at best quasi-automated, requiring a highly skilled labour force and involving a sizeable time investment. READ MORE

3. Lock-free Concurrent Search
Abstract : The contemporary computers typically consist of multiple computing cores with high compute power. Such computers make excellent concurrent asynchronous shared memory system. READ MORE

4. Handling severe uncertainty in strategic project appraisal : Methods and applications of context analysis
Abstract : The long-term success or failure of a strategic project is largely shaped by its context. Therefore, the assessment of the external factors influencing the fulfilment of project long-term goals is vital for the effective project appraisal and planning. READ MORE

5. Baseband Processing for 5G and Beyond: Algorithms, VLSI Architectures, and Co-design
Abstract : In recent years the number of connected devices and the demand for high data-rates have been significantly increased. This enormous growth is more pronounced by the introduction of the Internet of things (IoT) in which several devices are interconnected to exchange data for various applications like smart homes and smart cities.
