1. Entropy, information theory and spatial input-output analysis
Abstract : Interindustry transactions recorded at a macro level are simply summations of commodity shipment decisions taken at a micro level. The resulting statistical problem is to obtain minimally biased estimates of commodity flow distributions at the disaggregated level, given various forms of aggregated information. READ MORE

2. Vintage models of spatial structural change
Abstract : In the study a class of multisector network models, suitable for simulation of the interaction between production, demand, trade, and infrastructure, is presented. A characteristic feature of the class is a vintage model of the production system. READ MORE

3. Capacity-constrained production-inventory systems : using Laplace transforms and input-output analysis
Abstract : This work is concerned with multi-level, multi-stage capacity-constrained production-inventory problems. The aim is to provide a contribution to a theoretical background for Material Requirements Planning (MRP) using the Laplace Transform approach and Input-Output Analysis. READ MORE

4. Organizing physical flow data : from input-output tables to data warehouses
Abstract : Data on flows of materials and substances through the economy and the environment are collected by many different organizations and play a key role in the science of industrial ecology. In this thesis, a framework is suggested for structuring and organizing such data. READ MORE

5. Input-Output Stability Analysis of Networked Control Systems
Abstract : The main focus of the thesis is to derive stability criteria for networked control system (NCS) models featuring imperfections such as time-varying and constant delays, quantization, packet dropouts, and non-uniform sampling intervals. The main method of proof is based on matrix algebra, as opposed to methods using Lyapunov functions or integral quadratic constraints (IQC). READ MORE
