  1. 1. Development and evaluation of methods for control of multiple-input multiple output systems

    Author : Fredrik Bengtsson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Hold-input; Unreliable communication links; Decentralized control; MIMO systems.; Delays; LQG control; Input-output scaling; Control configuration selection; Gramian based measures;

    Abstract : In control, the most common type of system is the multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system, where the same input may affect multiple outputs, or conversely, the same output is affected by multiple inputs. In this thesis two methods for controlling MIMO systems are examined, namely linear quadratic Gaussian (LQG) control and decentralized control, and some of the difficulties associated with them. 3. 3. Estimation of the Dynamic Relative Gain Array for Control Configuration Selection

    Author : Ali Kadhim; Hamid Reza Shaker; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Reglerteknik; Control Engineering;

    Abstract : The control of multi-input multi-output systems (MIMO) is more difficult than for single-input single-output systems (SISO) due to the multitude of input-output couplings. Coupling, simply means that a change in any input leads to changes in many outputs. READ MORE

  4. 4. The transistor, with emphasis on its use for radio frequency telecommunication

    Author : Ted Johansson; Dag Sigurd; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Abstract : This thesis is about transistors, integrated circuits and techniques to fabricate electronic devices in semiconductor materials. The most important application area for the transistors studied in the thesis is radio frequency telecommunication. READ MORE
