1. Exploring Levers for Improvement of Basic Civil Aviation Training
Abstract : Although the civil aviation industry has gone through great technological and commercial change in the last decades, basic civil aviation training has not kept pace accordingly. The changes in civil aviation have rarely resulted in research programs in the field of basic training, which has long received minimal attention from the industry. READ MORE

2. Mental workload in basic civil aviation training
Abstract : Although the aviation industry has gone through great technological and commercial change in the last decades, basic civil aviation training has not changed accordingly. The consequences of the changes in civil aviation have rarely resulted in research programs in the field of basic civil aviation training and this phase, where future pilots gain their first sets of skills and knowledge, has long received only minimal attention from the aviation industry. 3. Weighted Bergman kernels and biharmonic Green functions
Abstract : The main theme of this thesis is the connection between weighted biharmonic Green functions and weighted Bergman kernels. In the first paper, which is a joint work with H. Hedenmalm and S. Shimorin, we prove that weighted biharmonic Green functions are positive for weights which satisfy a mean-value condition and whose logarithms are subharmonic. READ MORE

4. Structure and Motion Estimation in Rigid Body Perspective Dynamic Systems
Abstract : Abstract This thesis concerns different aspects of recursive estimation of structure and motion in dynamic rigid body perspective systems, where the three-dimensional position of observed object feature points are expressed as states in a system of deterministic or stochastic differential equations describing the object motion, combined with a set of output equations in the form of two-dimensional perspective measurements obtained using a single camera. Firstly, a number of novel hybrid matching constraints are derived for the recovery of motion parameters in a rigid body perspective system where the measurements can be considered as arriving at closely spaced time instants. 5. Reproducing kernels and potential theory for the Bergman spaces
Abstract : The role of weighted biharmonic Green functions in weighted Bergman spaces was first studied in the beginning of the 50's by Paul Garabedian. In 1951 he showed that they are closely related to reproducing kernel functions of weighted Bergman spaces. READ MORE
