    Abstract : In this licentiate thesis, I present the design, fabrication, and characterization of superconducting parametric resonators, for use in quantum information processing.     Abstract : This thesis describes the development of key components for superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) magnetometers in the high temperature superconductor YBa2Cu3O7 (YBCO).
