    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Fourier transform spectroscopy; branching fractions; oscillator strengths; term analysis; hyperfine structure; barium; gallium; iron; indium; Condensed matter:electronic structure; ruthenium.; magnetic and optical properties; electrical; spectroscopy; relaxation; magnetic resonance; supraconductors; egenskaper elektriska; Kondenserade materiens egenskaper:elektronstruktur; magnetiska och optiska ; supraledare; magnetisk resonans; spektroskopi; Astronomy; space research; cosmic chemistry; Astronomi; rymdvetenskap; kosmisk kemi; Fysicumarkivet A:2002:Karlsson;

    Abstract : New measurements of the elements Ba, Fe, Ga, In and Ru are reported. The analysis of barium contains new wavelengths, improved energy level values and new values of the ionization limit in both Ba I and Ba II. Oscillator strengths and radiative lifetimes in Fe II, as a part of the FERRUM project, are reported. READ MORE

  2. 2. The affects towards and perceptions of the self and significant others in hemophiliacs and diabetics

    Author : Claudia Lament; Institutionen för psykologi; []
    Keywords : SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Psychology; Psychoanalysis; Self Perception; Hemophilia; Diabetics; Psykologi;

    Abstract : The Affects Towards And Perceptions Of The Self And Significant Others in Hemophiliacs and Diabetics The studies in this dissertation investigated the feelings towards and ways of perceiving the self and significant others in twenty-seven patients with hemophilia between the ages of 16-39 to discern how their perceptual-affect states are organized. Secondly, the relationship between bleeds and affect states was also examined. READ MORE

  3. 3. The Intensive Care Unit syndrome/delirium, patients' perspective and clinical signs

    Author : Anetth Granberg Axèll; Anestesiologi och intensivvård; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; intensive care; delirium; ICU-syndrome; acute confusion; psychosis; critical care; experiences; sleep-deprivation; sensory overload; sensory underload; Anaesthesiology; environment.; Anestesiologi; intensivvård;

    Abstract : When a person becomes critically ill, injured and/or undergoes major surgery and requires intensive care, a complex dilemma can arise. The condition of the illness, the specific caring situation and the environment lead to significant changes and effects in the senses and perceptional abilities. READ MORE

  4. 4. In vitro contracture testing for the diagnosis of malignant hyperthermia susceptibility

    Author : Gunilla Islander; Anestesiologi och intensivvård; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; intensive care; Anestesiologi; Anaesthesiology; specificity; IVCT; Malignant hyperthermia susceptibility; skeletal muscle; inheritance pattern; sensitivity; reproducibility; intensivvård;

    Abstract : Malignant hyperthermia (MH) susceptibility is a rare inherited muscular disorder, which may cause a lethal increase in metabolism during anaesthesia with certain commonly used anaesthetic. Susceptible individuals are without any signs or symptoms. It is important to identify individuals at risk, since the MH reaction is preventable. READ MORE

  5. 5. Weichselian glaciations in the middle Notec River region, northwest Poland

    Author : Gert Pettersson; Kvartärgeologi; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Quaternary Geology; Kvartärgeologi; Geology; Geologi; Vistulian; Weichselian; Lithostratigraphy; Poland; Chodziez; Clast lithology; Clast fabrics; Deglaciation; Ice stream; Sedimentology; Sedimentologi; geomorphology; klimatologi; geomorfologi; climatology;

    Abstract : This thesis presents results of studies on the ice flow pattern and ice movement mechanism during the Weichselian glaciations in the middle Notec River area, NW Poland. A new lithostratigraphy of the study area has been established, based on correlation of stratigraphical position, clast lithology, fabrics and grain size composition of till units. READ MORE
