  1. 1. The fate and ash transformations of phosphorus in combustion of biomass and sewage sludge

    Author : Joel Falk; Marcus Öhman; Nils Skoglund; Dan Boström; Franz Winter; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Energy Engineering; Energiteknik;

    Abstract : The combustion of phosphorus (P)-rich biomass has a significant potential to increase the stock of biomass resources available for renewable heat and power production. In addition, the P-rich ashes have the potential as a fertilizer and could reduce the need for non-renewable P resources in agriculture. READ MORE

  2. 2. Effect of fuel composition and combustion conditions on phosphorus behavior during combustion of biomass

    Author : Joel Falk; Marcus Öhman; Anita Petterson; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Energiteknik; Energy Engineering;

    Abstract : Due to concerns for climate change and future supply of phosphorus fertilizer within agriculture, there has been an increased interest in the combustion of phosphorus containing waste residues and opportunity biomass fuels. Previous research has shown that during combustion, phosphorus has large impact on ash transformation reactions and may decrease or increase ash-related problems such as slag formation and bed agglomeration. 3. 3. Urethritis and cervicitis with special reference to Chlamydia trachomatis and Mycoplasma genitalium : diagnostic and epidemiological aspects

    Author : Lars Falk; Torvald Ripa; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICINE; MEDICIN;

    Abstract : The aim of this thesis was to elucidate urethritis and cervicitis and the possible causes with special reference to Chlamydia trachomatis and Mycoplasma genitalium. Despite mandatory partner notification legislated in 1988, the incidence of C trachomatis infection in Sweden has undergone a 10% annual increase since 1997, following a decline in the early 1990s. 5. 5. Developmental Perspectives on Transfer in Third Language Acquisition

    Author : Susan Sayehli; Allmän språkvetenskap; []
    Keywords : HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Third language acquisition; second language acquisition; transfer; developmental stages; elicited imitation; syntax; morphology; psychotypology; cross-linguistic influence;

    Abstract : The aim of this thesis is to examine how learner-general developmental stages in syntax and morphology interact with a language-specific factor, the influence of—or transfer from— the language learner’s first (L1) or previously learned second (L2) language on the acquisition of a third language (L3). It thereby aims to bring together two lines of research whose main concepts—transfer and developmental stages—have often been defined as mutually exclusive and generally studied in separate lines of research.
