1. Two-Level Multi-Objective Genetic Algorithm for Risk-Based Life Cycle Cost Analysis
Abstract : Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the fields in science and engineering and encompasses a wide variety of subfields, ranging from general areas (learning and perception) to specific topics, such as mathematical theorems. AI and, specifically, multi-objective genetic algorithms (MOGAs) for risk-based life cycle cost (LCC) analysis should be performed to estimate the optimal replacement time of tunnel fan systems, with a view towards reducing the ownership cost and the risk cost and increasing company profitability from an economic point of view. 2. MEMS-based electrochemical gas sensors and wafer-level methods
Abstract : This thesis describes novel microel ectromechanical system (MEMS) based electrochemical gas sensors and methods of fabrication. This thesis presents the research in two parts. In the first part, a method to handle a thin silicon wafer using an electrochemically active adhesive is described. READ MORE

3. Structural pathology and functional analysis of vitamin K-dependent protein S
Abstract : Protein S deficiency is an autosomal dominant trait affecting around 10% of families thrombophilic families. The high affinity interaction of approximately 60% of protein S with C4b -binding protein (C4BP) has raised a complicated situation for the diagnosis of deficiency states. READ MORE

4. Self-perceived oral health, dental utilization and satisfaction with dental care - a longitudinal study in one Swedish age cohort
READ MORE

5. On Overload Control and Performance Agreements in a Parlay/OSA Environment
Abstract : Parlay/OSA is a service architecture for current and next generation telecommunication networks. A gateway provides the applications with abstracted network functionality via Application Programming Interfaces. This facilitates the creation of telecommunication services and applications from independent software developers. READ MORE
