16. Abelian Extensions, Fractional Loop Group and Quantum Fields
Abstract : This thesis deals with the theory of Lie group extensions, Lie conformal algebras and twisted K-theory, in the context of quantum physics. These structures allow for a mathematically precise description of certain aspects of interacting quantum field theories. READ MORE

17. Strings, Gravitons, and Effective Field Theories
Abstract : This thesis concerns a range of aspects of theoretical physics. It is composed of two parts. In the first part we motivate our line of research, and introduce and discuss the relevant concepts. In the second part, four research papers are collected. READ MORE

18. Quasi-hom-Lie Algebras, from Twisted Derivations-like Operators to Deformations and Extensions of Infinite-dimensional and Color Lie-algebras
Abstract : A.... READ MORE

19. Structure and representations of certain classes of infinite-dimensional algebras
Abstract : We study several infinite-dimensional algebras and their representation theory. In Paper I, we study the category O for the (centrally extended) Schrödinger Lie algebra, which is an analogue of the classical BGG category O. We decompose the category into a direct sum of "blocks", and describe Gabriel quivers of these blocks. READ MORE

20. A Categorical Study of Composition Algebras via Group Actions and Triality
Abstract : A composition algebra is a non-zero algebra endowed with a strictly non-degenerate, multiplicative quadratic form. Finite-dimensional composition algebras exist only in dimension 1, 2, 4 and 8 and are in general not associative or unital. Over the real numbers, such algebras are division algebras if and only if they are absolute valued, i.e. READ MORE
