1. Pitch, loudness and frequency selectivity in low-frequency hearing loss
Abstract : Patients with Ménière's disease and cochlear hydrops show fluctuating low-frequency hearing loss (FLFHL). At present these changes are followed as patients' subjective reports and occasional measurements. READ MORE

2. Low Frequency Impact Sound in Timber Buildings : Simulations and Measurements
Abstract : An increased share of construction with timber is one possible way of achieving more sustainable and energy-efficient life cycles of buildings. The main reason is that wood is a renewable material and buildings require a large amount of resources. READ MORE

3. Low frequency noise during work. Effects on performance and annoyance
Abstract : Aims. Low frequency noise (LFN) is defined as "a noise with a dominant frequency content of 20 to 200 Hz". Common sources of LFN in occupational environments are ventilation, heating and air-conditioning systems, computer network installations and compressors. READ MORE

4. Ultra-Low Power InAs/AlSb HEMTs for Cryogenic Low-Noise Applications
Abstract : The InAs/AlSb high electron mobility transistor (HEMT) is an emerging microwave device technology for ultra-low power and low noise applications. Due to the low bandgap (0. READ MORE

5. Tracking selective attention in a musical cocktail
Abstract : The cocktail party effect refers to mankind’s ability to focus attention on a single sound within noisy or complex auditory environments, in order to extract the most behaviourally-relevant information present. To investigate this cognitive phenomenon in a precise manner, we used frequency-tagging to separate neural auditory steady-state responses (ASSRs), which are specific to the driving frequency of each auditory source, from a neural mix elicited by multiple simultaneous stimuli.
