    Author : Anna Giulia Montaruli; Peter LeFanu Lumsdaine; Gregory Arone; Marek Zawadowski; Stockholms universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Category Theory; Logic; Algebra; Homotopy Theory; matematik; Mathematics;

    Abstract : In this PhD thesis we investigate a representation theorem for small abelian categories and a representation theorem for left proper, enriched model categories, with the purpose of describing them concretely in terms of specific well-known categories.For the abelian case, we study the constructivity issues of the Freyd-Mitchell Embedding Theorem, which states the existence of a full embedding from a small abelian category into the category of modules over an appropriate ring. 4. 24. Ext-algebras of standard modules over quasi-hereditary algebras

    Author : Markus Thuresson; Julian Külshammer; Pierre-Guy Plamondon; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Mathematics; Matematik;

    Abstract : This thesis concerns the representation theory of a particular class of finite-dimensional algebras, called quasi-hereditary algebras. In particular, it considers two subclasses of quasi-hereditary algebras: dual extension algebras and hereditary algebras. It consists of three papers. READ MORE

    Abstract : In this thesis we study quantum-like representation and simulation of quantum algorithms by using classical computers.The quantum--like representation algorithm (QLRA) was  introduced by A. Khrennikov (1997) to solve the ``inverse Born's rule problem'', i.e. READ MORE
