  2. 7. Structured MFI film catalysts and adsorbents

    Author : Olov Öhrman; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Chemical Technology; Kemisk teknologi;

    Abstract : A method originally developed at the division of Chemical Technology, Luleå University of Technology was tailored for the preparation of well-defined ZSM-5 films and zoned MFI films on supports suitable for catalysis and adsorption applications. Films were grown on monoliths, ceramic foams, alumina beads, soda glass beads and quartz glass. READ MORE

  3. 8. Study of H2/CO/CO2 adsorption on MFI zeolites for CO2 selective WGS membrane reactor concept

    Author : Sang Wirawan; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; FTIR spectra; CO2 selective; adsorption; MFI zeolites; Langmuir model; WGS membrane reactor; TPD;

    Abstract : The single-component adsorption behavior of CO, CO2 and multi-component adsorption of H2/CO2, CO/CO2, and H2/CO/CO2 on silicalite-1 and cation exchanged MZSM-5 zeolites (M = H, Na, and Ba) were investigated by a step change response method. Temperature programmed desorption (TPD) and in-situ fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy were also performed to study the type of adsorbed species and their thermal stabilities. READ MORE

  4. 9. Modification of MFI membranes for enhanced selectivity

    Author : Jonas Lindmark; Ann-Sofi Jönsson; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Chemical Technology; Kemisk teknologi;

    Abstract : Zeolite membranes can potentially be used for separation of many types of mixtures. The membranes can be tailored by a number of methods to suit a specific separation application. READ MORE

  5. 10. Tailoring of MFI membranes for enhanced selectivity

    Author : Jonas Lindmark; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Chemical Technology; Kemisk teknologi;

    Abstract : Zeolite membranes can potentially be used for the separation of many types of mixtures. The membranes can be tailored by a number of methods to suit a specific separation application. In this work both traditional and new innovative methods were used to tailor the properties of membranes in order to enhance the selectivity for a given separation. READ MORE
