11. MRI assessment of haemophilic arthropathy
Abstract : Haemophilia is a recessive genetic bleeding disorder in which coagulation time is prolonged due to the absence or malfunction of either of the serum proteins Factor VIII or IX. Joint destruction following repeated haemarthroses is the main cause of morbidity in haemophiliacs, and such arthropathy can be prevented or postponed by implementing prophylactic therapy with factor concentrate at an early age. 12. Contributions to quantitative dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI
Abstract : Background: Dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) has the potential to produce images of physiological quantities such as blood flow, blood vessel volume fraction, and blood vessel permeability. Such information is highly valuable, e.g., in oncology. READ MORE

13. MRI Perfusion Measurements using Magnetic Susceptibility Effects: : Calibration Approaches and Contrast Agent Quantification
Abstract : Exchange of oxygen and nutrients between blood and tissue occurs at the capillary level of the blood system. The blood volume flow rate in the capillaries is often referred to as perfusion, and knowledge about perfusion provides important information about the function and viability of the tissue, for example, in patients with ischaemic stroke, cancer, and neurodegenerative diseases. 14. Multiparametric MRI for evaluation of tumour treatment response : Studies of 177Lu-octreotate therapy of neuroendocrine tumour
Abstract : Clinical assessment of tumour response to treatment largely relies on estimates of tumour size by, e.g., measuring the largest tumour diameters on magnetic resonance (MR) or computed tomography (CT) images, weeks or months after treatment. READ MORE

15. Preoperative MRI and PET in suspected low-grade gliomas : Radiological, neuropathological and clinical intersections
Abstract : Background: Gliomas are neuroepithelial tumours classified by cell type and grade. In adults, low-grade gliomas are comprised mainly of astrocytomas and oligodendrogliomas grade II. READ MORE
