  1. 1. Measurement of azimuthal asymmetries in the hadronic final-state of deep inelastic scattering at HERA

    Author : Magnus Lindström; Partikel- och kärnfysik; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; jets; DIS; azimuthal asymmetries; structure function; unfold; quantum field theory; Elementary particle physics; Elementarpartikelfysik; kvantfältteori; Physics; Fysik; Fysicumarkivet A:2000:Lindström;

    Abstract : Azimuthal asymmetries of the hadronic final state in deep inelastic scattering at HERA provide the opportunity to study the helicity of the interacting particles. We present a theoretical overview of the origin of these effects up to leading order in the strong coupling constant, $alpha_s$. READ MORE

  2. 2. Demand responsive resource management for cellular networks : link asymmetry, pricing and multihopping

    Author : Magnus Lindström; Jens Zander; Narayan Mandayam; KTH; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Electrical engineering; Elektroteknik; elektronik och fotonik; Electrical engineering; electronics and photonics; Elektroteknik; elektronik och fotonik;

    Abstract : Economic affordability of services and infrastructures has rapidly become one of the key issues in the evaluation and design of wireless access systems. The provisioning of high data rates, at an ``affordable'' price, constitutes a serious challenge to the structure and management of current and future wireless networks. READ MORE

  3. 3. Resource allocation for asymmetric traffic in time division duplexing mode cellular networks

    Author : Magnus Lindström; KTH; []
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : Time Division Duplexing (TDD) mode systems provide greatflexibility that can be used to implement asymmetrical links.Adverse interference conditions easily arise, however.Especially if dicerent asymmetries are required in neighbouringcells. READ MORE

  4. 4. Transformation of iron constituents during early diagenesis : in situ studies of a Baltic Sea sediment-water interface

    Author : C. H. Magnus Lindström; Stockholms universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : The aim of the present study was to elucidate the mechanisms and kinetics of the transformation of iron constituents at the sediment-water interface and their interaction with other element cycles during early diagenesis, with emphasis on their relations with oxygen, phosphorus and sulphur. The investigation was carried out in situ at 10 m water depth on a nearshore Baltic Sea soft bottom sediment. READ MORE

  5. 5. Fatigue life prediction of additively manufactured ductile nickel-based superalloys : Constitutive and crack initiation modelling

    Author : Thomas Lindström; Daniel Leidermark; Kjell Simonsson; Robert Eriksson; Magnus Ekh; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Additive manufacturing; Low-cycle fatigue; Thermomechanical fatigue; Constitutive modelling; Anisotropy;

    Abstract : This dissertation was produced at the Division of Solid Mechanics at Linköping University, and is the final result of a project that included mechanical testing and modelling of an additively manufactured ductile nickel-based superalloy.The main objective of the work presented in this thesis was to investigate and model the cyclic behaviour and the fatigue life behaviour of an additively manufactured ductile nickel-based superalloy, with emphasis on modelling the stabilised material behaviour, by which fatigue life predictions can be based upon.
