2. Proximity Ligation Assay for High Performance Protein Analysis in Medicine
Abstract : High quality reagents are preconditions for high performance protein analyses. But despite progress in some techniques, e.g. mass spectrometry, there is still a lack of affinity-based detection techniques with enhanced precision, specificity, and sensitivity. READ MORE

3. Improved building energy simulations and verifications by regression
Abstract : It is common with significant differences between calculated and actual energy use in the building sector. These calculations are often performed with whole building energy simulation (BES) programs. In this process the analyst must make several assumptions about the studied building and its users. 5. Metapopulation ecology of Osmoderma eremita - dispersal, habitat quality and habitat history
Abstract : This thesis starts with a review of different biodiversity assessment methods in forests and the rest deals with the metapopulation ecology of Osmoderma eremita, a threatened beetle living in hollow trees. I concentrate on the effect of dispersal, habitat quality and habitat history for the presence, population size and future survival of this species. READ MORE
