  1. 6. Disruptive power : How distributed energy resources shape organizations and value logics in the future of electricity systems

    Author : Martin Warneryd; Eva Thorin; Ewa Wäckelgård; Dick Magnusson; Mälardalens universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Energy- and Environmental Engineering; energi- och miljöteknik;

    Abstract : The electricity sector faces its largest transformation since its beginning about a century ago. Combinations of ageing electricity networks, removal of fossil supply sources and electrification of industry and transport sectors require vast efforts at all levels of society. READ MORE

  2. 7. The process of executing digital transformation strategies : Case studies in established Swedish manufacturing firms

    Author : Martin Andreasson; Solmaz Filiz Karabag; Thomas Magnusson; Fábio Gama; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : The emergence of digital technologies has forced established firms to engage in a digital transformation. Digital transformations are complex and time-consuming processes, and therefore, they require unique strategies for coordinating and prioritizing activities. READ MORE

  3. 8. Effects of repetitive work on proprioception and of stretching on sensory mechanisms : implications for work-related neuromuscular disorders

    Author : Martin Björklund; Håkan Johansson; Albert Crenshaw; Ronny Lorentzon; Måns Magnusson; Umeå universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Medicine; Repetitive motions; Muscle fatigue; Proprioception; Muscle stretching; Work-related musculoskeletal disorders; Nociception; Ergonomics; Medicin; Dermatology and venerology; clinical genetics; internal medicine; Dermatologi och venerologi; klinisk genetik; invärtesmedicin; medicin; Medicine;

    Abstract : The aims of the thesis were (i) to investigate the impact of repetitive low-intensity work exposure on proprioception and (ii) to examine effects of muscle stretching (especially sensory effects and effects on muscle nociception) and to relate its application to the prevention, alleviation and/or treatment of work-related neuromuscular disorders. The effects of low-intensity repetitive work on the shoulder proprioception were tested in healthy subjects. READ MORE

  4. 9. Robust large-scale mapping and localization : Combining robust sensing and introspection

    Author : Daniel Adolfsson; Henrik Andreasson; Martin Magnusson; Stephanie Lowry; Timothy Barfoot; Örebro universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; SLAM; Localization; Robustness; Radar;

    Abstract : The presence of autonomous systems is rapidly increasing in society and industry. To achieve successful, efficient, and safe deployment of autonomous systems, they must be navigated by means of highly robust localization systems. READ MORE

  5. 10. Semantic Mapping in Warehouses

    Author : Saeed Gholami Shahbandi; Björn Åstrand; Roland Philippsen; Antanas Verikas; Martin Magnusson; Högskolan i Halmstad; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Automation; Robotics; Mapping; Semantic Maps; Warehouse Automation;

    Abstract : This thesis and appended papers present the process of tacking the problem of environment modeling for autonomous agent. More specifically, the focus of the work has been semantic mapping of warehouses. A semantic map for such purpose is expected to be layout-like and support semantics of both open spaces and infrastructure of the environment. READ MORE
