    Abstract : This thesis concerns experimental studies of hydrated perovskites and hydrated alkali thio-hydroxogermanates, two classes of solid state proton conductors which are promising to be used as electrolytes in future intermediate temperature (200-500°C) fuel cells.This is an attractive temperature range for many applications but for which today's available electrolytes do not show satisfactory performance.     Abstract : This thesis studies the intertwinement of economy and emotions within the context of modernity. By investigating how work and romantic love interact in fiction films from the period 1930 to 1955, I seek to shed light on how two cultural practices that might normally be assumed to belong to separate dimensions of life – the economic and the emotional – are actually closely connected to each other.     Abstract : The main object of this doctoral dissertation is the Slovenian transition to a market economy with a focus on the genesis of the Slovenian privatization model and the political and legislative process behind its formulation. Starting from a presentation of the international context and historical legacies, the study investigates the almost three-year-long Slovenian theoretical, parliamentary, economic, political and public debates (1990-1992) concerning the choice of model and institutional framework for large-scale privatization.
