11. Aspects on Imaging and Endovascular Treatment of Aortic Dissection and Aneurysm
Abstract : Aortic aneurysm and dissections are potentially life threatening conditions. The advent of endovascular aortic repair (EVAR) and thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) has reduced perioperative mortality and morbidity and are now established therapy methods for treatment of aortic disease. 12. Surface and Interface Phenomena Studied with Pd Metal-Oxide-semiconductor Structures : Adsorption, catalytic reactions, hydrogen sensing and Pd restructuring
Abstract : The electronic properties of palladium metal-oxide-semiconductor (Pd-MOS) structures are highly sensitive to hydrogen over a large pressure range. Such devices have been found useful in several applications, e.g. as a chemical sensing element in the so called electronic nose. READ MORE

15. Lipase-Catalyzed Syntheses of Telechelic Polyesters
Abstract : Telechelic polyesters have successfully been synthesized with lipase-catalyzed polymerization. The produced telechelics had a high degree of difunctionalization, high purity (requiring little or no workup) and controlled degree of polymerization. The syntheses were performed in one-pot one-step reaction systems. READ MORE
