  1. 1. Increasing innovation capability of product-service systems through collaborative networks

    University dissertation from Luleå : Luleå tekniska universitet

    Author : Johanna Wallin; Luleå tekniska universitet.; [2011]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Funktionella produkter; Functional Product Development; Value; Innovation network; Collaboration; Innovation Capability; Measuring innovation; Product-Service System;

    Abstract : Many manufacturing industries are undergoing a transition from manufacturing of products towards integrating more services into the traditional product concepts and provide product-service systems (PSS). Development of PSS changes the focus from the product to the functionality of the product; hence it can be referred to as functional product development. READ MORE

  2. 2. INNOVATION AUDITING THE AUDIT & THE AUDITOR (from the perspective of the internal auditor)

    University dissertation from Västerås : Mälardalen University

    Author : Helena Karlsson; Mälardalens högskola.; [2015]

In line with this the purpose of this study is to build knowledge that increases both the academic and the practical user-value of innovation audits. READ MORE

  3. 3. Development of a Novel Method for Evaluation of Interfacial Tension between Polymer Melts

    University dissertation from Department of Production and Materials Engineering, LTH, Lund University

    Author : Thomas Rundqvist; Lund University.; Lunds universitet.; [1997]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Polymer technology; Polymer Blends; Imbedded Fiber; Imbedded Disk; High viscosity; Interfacial tension; Polymer melts; biopolymers; Polymerteknik;

    Abstract : A novel method for the evaluation of interfacial tension of high viscosity polymer melts is described. The method involves the tracking of the shape evolution of a highly deformed droplet of one material imbedded in a second one. This makes it possible to determine the interfacial tension over a relatively short time period. READ MORE

  4. 4. Innovation Capabilities – Measurement, Assessment and Development

    University dissertation from Faculty of Engineering, Department of Design Sciences, Innovation Engineering

    Author : Andre Benaim; [2015]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; innovation; capability; measurement system; teams;

    Abstract : As organizations work to secure their innovativeness, they want to know whether their efforts are supporting the improvement of their innovation capabilities. The focus on outcomes and financial measures of current innovation measurement systems makes this challenging as those indicators often say little about capabilities. READ MORE

  5. 5. Shaping thought through action : A study of the use and design of technical information

    University dissertation from Västerås : Mälardalen University

    Author : Jonatan Lundin; Mälardalens högskola.; [2020]
    Keywords : HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Innovation and Design; innovation och design;

    Abstract : This dissertation deals with the design of technical information, such as a user manual for an industrial device, based on the searching and reading behaviour of process operators and maintenance technicians. Such industrial professionals, who use tools like measuring equipment, are sometimes unable to get the support they need from searching and reading in a text- and image-based tool manual in order to perform work tasks.
