16. Data analysis for discovering the protein profile dynamics of the human ovarian follicular fluid and BRAF mutated metastatic melanoma tissue. : -
Abstract : Proteomics is widely utilized to understand the function of cellular processes at the molecular level. Using liquid chromatography interfaced with mass spectrometry (LC-MS)-based proteomics, thousands of proteins can be identified and quantified in a single experiment and their relationship and interactions can be analyzed. 17. Novel immunotherapies for metastatic uveal melanoma - From bench to clinical biomarkers
Abstract : Immunotherapy has revolutionized cancer treatment, with durable long-term effects in a proportion of patients. However, in around half of these patients, there are little to no effects. Patients with metastatic uveal melanoma (mUM), a rare form of melanoma originating from the eye has lack of effective treatments. READ MORE

18. Genetic and epigenetic alterations in melanoma
Abstract : Malignant melanoma is a disease that may arise in several different parts of the body, preferentially the skin, rarely in the mucosal membranes or the choroidal tissues of the eye. The incidence of cutaneous melanoma (CMM) is steadily increasing in the Caucasian populations, unlike uveal melanoma (UM) that shows a stable incidence. READ MORE

19. Cutaneous malignant melanoma : aspects on recurrence and mortality
Abstract : The purpose of this thesis was to analyse patterns of recurrence and mortality from cutaneous malignant melanoma (CMM) in relation to clinical development and metastatic pathways. The basis of the study consists of patients with CMM, registered and followed within the Stockholm-Gotland regional melanoma care programme, patients included in a national randomized study on the effects of resection margins on outcome, and individuals registered with malignant melanoma as underlying cause of death in the Swedish Cause-of-Death Registry, 1970-1996. 20. Molecular Subtypes of Melanoma. Biological and Clinical Significance
Abstract : Cutaneous malignant melanoma (CMM) is the most lethal form of skin cancer and its incidence has increased faster than that of any other cancer, rendering it a major public health problem worldwide. High-throughput screenings have opened the door to a new scientific world, which enables molecular-based characterization of large cancer cohort collections. READ MORE
