  1. 1. Acoustic Noise and Echo Cancelling : Microphone Array Methods and Applications

    University dissertation from Lund/Karlskrona : University of Karlskrona/Ronneby - Lund University

    Author : Mattias Dahl; Blekinge Tekniska Högskola.; [1997]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Abstract : This Licentiate thesis is divided into three parts corresponding to three different papers. There is one research report, one conference paper and one submitted journal paper. All three parts deal with acoustic echo and/or noise cancelling problems when using adaptive microphone arrays. READ MORE

  2. 2. Subband Beamforming for Speech Enhancement within a Motorcycle helmet

    University dissertation from Karlskrona : Blekinge Institute of Technology

    Author : Per Cornelius; Blekinge Tekniska Högskola.; [2005]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Beamfroming; Microphone array system;

    Abstract : The increased mobility in society has led to a need for convenient mobile communication in many different type of environments. Environments such as a motorcycle helmet, engine rooms and most industrial sites share a common challenge in that they often offer significant acoustic background noise. READ MORE

  3. 3. Polynomial Solvers for Geometric Problems - Applications in Computer Vision and Sensor Networks

    University dissertation from Karlskrona : Blekinge Institute of Technology

    Author : Yubin Kuang; Lund University.; Lunds universitet.; Lund University.; Lunds universitet.; Lund University.; Lunds universitet.; [2014]
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; polynomial solver; geometric problems; computer vision; sensor networks; symmetry;

    Abstract : Given images of a scene taken by a moving camera or recordings of a moving smart phone playing a song by a microphone array, how hard is it to reconstruct the scene structure or the moving trajectory of the phone? In this thesis, we study and solve several fundamental geometric problems in order to provide solutions to these problems. The key underlying technique for solving such geometric problems is solving systems of polynomial equations. READ MORE

  4. 4. Optimal and Adaptive Subband Beamforming
