1. Dosimetric effects of breathing motion in radiotherapy
Abstract : The goal of radiotherapy is to deliver a homogeneous high dose of radiation to a tumour while minimising the dose to the surrounding healthy tissue. To achieve this, increasingly advanced treatment techniques, such as volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) and proton therapy, have been developed. READ MORE

2. lntrafractional motion effects during stereotactic body radiation therapy of lung tumors
Abstract : Abstract: Patient shifts and tumor motions occurring during stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) have been analyzed to determine the related effects on the delivered dose. Methods: 4-dimensional computed tomography series were retrospectively reviewed to characterize respiratory-induced lung tumor motions in 126 patients. READ MORE

3. Effects of Motion Sickness on Human Thermoregulatory Mechanisms
Abstract : The presented studies were performed to investigate the effects of motion sickness (MS) on human autonomic and behavioural thermoregulatory mechanisms during cold stress and in a thermoneutral environment. The roles of histaminergic and cholinergic neuron systems in autonomic thermoregulation and MS-dependent dysfunction of autonomic thermoregulation were studied using a histamine-receptor blocker, dimenhydrinate (DMH), and a muscarine-receptor blocker, scopolamine (Scop). 4. Sensorimotor control and cervical range of motion in women with chronic neck pain : Kinematic assessments and effects of neck coordination exercise
Abstract : Introduction: Neck pain is a common problem in society and is more prevalent among women. The consequences of neck pain for the individual often include activity and participation limitations, thus affecting many dimensions of life. READ MORE

5. Relaxation and Resonance in Brownian Motion-Coupled Resonators
Abstract : In physics, there exists a number of paradigm systems – exactly solvable models that can represent a wide variety of physical realizations. My research is concerned with two of these paradigm systems: the harmonic oscillator and Brownian motion. READ MORE
