21. Meson Decay with Isospin Breaking At Two Loops
Abstract : In all calculations done in this thesis, the evaluation of higher order quantum corrections has been central. In the first paper included in this thesis we have investigated the effects of finite volume meson propagators for quark-antiquark vacuum expectation value at two-loop level. READ MORE

22. Serch for Neutralino Dark Matter with the AMANDA-II Neutrino Telescope
Abstract : The annihilation of weakly interacting massive particles (WIMPs), accumulated in gravitational potentials (e.g., the core of the Earth, the Sun or the Galactic halo) would lead to neutrino production. READ MORE

23. Search for Supersymmetry with DELPHI, and preparation for ATLAS
Abstract : This thesis reports on searches for supersymmetric particles, in particular neutralinos, conducted with the DELPHI detector at the LEP accelerator at CERN. The searches were performed within the framework of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM), with R-parity conserved and gravity mediated supersymmetry breaking. READ MORE

24. Measurement of azimuthal asymmetries in the hadronic final-state of deep inelastic scattering at HERA
Abstract : Azimuthal asymmetries of the hadronic final state in deep inelastic scattering at HERA provide the opportunity to study the helicity of the interacting particles. We present a theoretical overview of the origin of these effects up to leading order in the strong coupling constant, $alpha_s$. READ MORE

25. η Meson Production in Proton-Proton Collisions at Excess Energies of 40 and 72 MeV
Abstract : The production of η mesons in proton-proton collisions has been studied with the WASA detector using internal pellet targets in the CELSIUS storage ring at the The Svedberg Laboratory in Uppsala. Data were taken at two beam energies, 1360 MeV and 1445 MeV, corresponding to CM excess energies of 40 and 72 MeV, respectively. READ MORE
