Analysen av ett antal hiv-berättelser sker tillsammans med en teoretisk sammanflätning i form av den queera sårbarhetens och sjukdomens fenomenologi, samt genom de feministiska figurationerna hiv-tröskeln, skrubbsår, plåster och gruskorn.
