1. New Frontiers in Behavioral Interventions : Harnessing Digital Technology to Change Behavior
Abstract : An increasingly sedentary lifestyle, rising levels of household debt, global warming—many of society’s most pressing challenges have one contributing factor in common: human behavior. Many people have lofty goals involving physical activity, retirement saving or sustainable behavior. READ MORE

2. Thiol redox state in apoptosis : physiological and toxicant modulation
Abstract : Apoptosis is a physiological type of cell death used to regulate the number of cells during development and in adult organs. However, apoptosis can also be inappropriately activated or inhibited under pathological conditions. One of the critical mechanisms of apoptosis is the activity of cysteine proteases belonging to the caspase family. READ MORE

3. Effects of Motion Sickness on Human Thermoregulatory Mechanisms
Abstract : The presented studies were performed to investigate the effects of motion sickness (MS) on human autonomic and behavioural thermoregulatory mechanisms during cold stress and in a thermoneutral environment. The roles of histaminergic and cholinergic neuron systems in autonomic thermoregulation and MS-dependent dysfunction of autonomic thermoregulation were studied using a histamine-receptor blocker, dimenhydrinate (DMH), and a muscarine-receptor blocker, scopolamine (Scop). 4. Polynomial Hulls and Envelopes of Holomorphy
Abstract : The notion of polynomial hulls of compact subsets of complex Euclidean space plays a crucial role for approximation of holomorphic functions by polynomials - a topic which has many applications. Despite an abstract characterization of polynomial hulls in terms of currents, given by Duval and Sibony, it is often very difficult even for special classes of sets to decide whether the polynomial hull is trivial (i. 5. Radiosynthesis of Perfluoroalkyl Substances : Chemical analysis, uptake, distribution, and partitioning studies
Abstract : Perfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) are widely utilized manmade chemicals. Their properties have made them highly appreciated in a variety of industrial and consumer product applications, including fire-fighting foams, hydraulic fluids, as well as in cookware and food contact papers.
