    Abstract : This thesis provides a study of an open source software project that focuses on the software development of an e-service in a municipal context. The focus is on environmental factors that either limit or promote the motivation to participate in the open source project, the "Parent-Teacher Meeting" project, a web-based communication and information channel whose purpose is to enhance the contacts between schools and parents. 2. 2. Early events in T cell development

    Author : Karin Leandersson; Malmö Cancerimmunologi; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Immunology; pTalpha; gammadelta T cell; alphabeta T cell; development; thymus; thymocyte; serology; transplantation; Immunologi; serologi;

    Abstract : T cells constitute a heterogenous population of lymphocytes. Their unifying property is that they express surface bound antigen-receptors, called T cell receptors (TCRs). The TCR is a heterodimer composed of either TCRalpha and beta chain proteins (alphabeta TCR) or gamma and delta chain proteins (gammadelta TCR). READ MORE

  3. 3. The cultured neuroretina: development, survival and transplantation

    Author : Karl Engelsberg; Lund Oftalmologi; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Oftalmologi; Ophtalmology; transplantation; development; culture; retina;

    Abstract : In the cultured immature rat full-thickness neuroretina, massive apoptosis appears in the GCL within hours after explantation, but in the ONL cell death is low. Microglia cells become activated when the retina is kept in culture and are found in the GCL within 24 hours of culture. READ MORE

  4. 4. Chemokines and Integrins in Lymphocyte Development and Localization

    Author : Jan Marsal; Immunologi; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Immunologi; serologi; transplantation; serology; Immunology; homing; development; IEL; lymphocytes; chemokines; integrins;

    Abstract : The small intestine contains a large number of T lymphocytes within the single-layered epithelium that separates the gut lumen from the lamina propria. These intraepithelial T lymphocytes have potent cytolytic and immunoregulatory capacities, thought to be important for fighting infections, neoplastic growth, and sustaining epithelial integrity. 5. 5. Studies on chondrocyte integrins and mechanical signaling

    Author : Karin Holmvall; Institutionen för experimentell medicinsk vetenskap; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; teratology; Development biology; collagen; mechnaical stimulation; cartilage; development; chondrocyte; integrin; ontogeny; embryology human ; Utvecklingsbiologi; teratologi; embryologi människa ;

    Abstract : Integrins are a family of cell surface receptors known to bind matrix proteins and to mediate signals such as mechanical signals between the cell and the surrounding matrix. We have studied integrins that are expressed by chondrocytes, with specific focus on the integrins that interact with the cartilage matrix protein collagen type II. READ MORE
