  1. 1. Classification of simple transitive 2-representations

    Author : Jakob Zimmermann; Volodymyr Mazorchuk; Joseph Chuang; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; 2-representation theory; 2-categories; Soergel bimodules; projective functors; cell 2-representations; simple transitive 2-representations;

    Abstract : The representation theory of finitary 2-categories is a generalization of the classical representation theory of finite dimensional associative algebras. A key notion in classical representation theory is the notion of simple modules as those are in some sense the building blocks of all modules. READ MORE

  2. 2. The Role of Tetrahedral Building Blocks in Low-Dimensional Oxohalide Materials

    Author : Iwan Zimmermann; Mats Johnsson; Lars Kloo; Stockholms universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Lone-pair elements; crystal structure; low-dimensional compounds; oxohalides; Inorganic Chemistry; oorganisk kemi;

    Abstract : The structural architecture found in low-dimensional materials can lead to a number of interesting physical properties including anisotropic conductivity, magnetic frustration and non-linear optical properties. There is no standard synthesis concept described thus far to apply when searching for new low-dimensional compounds, and therefore control on the design of the new materials is of great importance. 3. 3. Design, Processing and Characterization of Silicon Carbide Diodes

    Author : Uwe Zimmermann; KTH; []
    Keywords : silicon carbide; diodes; high-voltage; dislocations; electronics;

    Abstract : Electronic power devices made of silicon carbide promisesuperior performance over today's silicon devices due toinherent material properties. As a result of the material'swide band gap of 3. READ MORE

  4. 4. From Light to Dark : Electrical Phenomena in Cu(In,Ga)Se2 Solar Cells

    Author : Piotr Szaniawski; Marika Edoff; Uwe Zimmermann; Jörgen Olsson; Thomas Walter; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Solar cells; Photovoltaics; Cu InGa Se2; CIGS; Electrical characterization; Teknisk fysik med inriktning mot elektronik; Engineering Science with specialization in Electronics;

    Abstract : In Cu(In,Ga)Se2 (CIGS) solar cells the CIGS layer serves as the light absorber, growing naturally p-type. Together with an n-type buffer layer they form a p-n heterojunction. Typically, CdS is used as a buffer, although other, less toxic materials are investigated as alternatives. READ MORE
