  1. 1. How organizations incorporate insights from stakeholder communication : The role of media and modal affordances

    Author : Thomas Cyron; Leona Achtenhagen; Massimo Baù; Per Davidsson; Joep P. Cornelissen; Jönköping University; []
    Keywords : SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : Organizations are increasingly opening up to external voices that might carry new insights and help organizations to find their place in society. But the context through which organizations communicate with their stakeholders shapes how communication unfolds. READ MORE

  2. 2. Nitrogen transformations in wetlands: Effects of water flow patterns

    Author : Torbjörn Davidsson; Biologiska institutionen; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Hydrobiology; hydrology; infiltration; subsurface flow; surface flow; wetland; nitrogen; Denitrification; mineralization; nitrification; marine biology; aquatic ecology; limnology; Marinbiologi; limnologi; akvatisk ekologi;

    Abstract : In this thesis, I have studied nitrogen turnover processes in watermeadows. A watermeadow is a wetland where water infiltrates through the soil of a grassland field. READ MORE

  3. 3. Shining Light on Molecules : Electron Transfer Processes in Model Systems for Solar Energy Conversion Investigated by Transient Absorption Spectroscopy

    Author : Jens Föhlinger; Leif Hammarström; Davidsson Jan; Benjamin Dietzek; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; photophysics; photoinduced electron transfer; transient absorption spectroscopy; laser spectroscopy; solar energy conversion; p-type DSSCs; Charge separation; recombination; mesoporous NiO;

    Abstract : In the recent years, solar energy conversion has attracted a huge research interest due to the potential application for limiting the greenhouse effect. In many solar cells and solar fuel cells, understanding of charge transfer (CT) and recombination is important for future improvement of the overall efficiency. READ MORE

  4. 4. Infection induced chronic inflammation and it's association with prostate cancer initiation and progression

    Author : Sabina Davidsson; Ove Andrén; Bo Söderquist; Jennifer Rider; Gisela Helenius; Jan-Erik Damber; Örebro universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Prostate cancer; chronic inflammation; CD4 helper T cells; CD8 cytotoxic T cells; regulatory T cells; Propionibacterium acnes; Medicine; Medicin;

    Abstract : An association between cancer development and inflammation has long been suggested. Approximately 20% of all human cancers in adults are assumed to result from chronic inflammation. The aim of this thesis was to investigate if infection-induced chronic inflammation plays a role in prostate carcinogenesis. READ MORE

  5. 5. Controlling Charge and Energy Transfer Processes in Artificial Photosynthesis : From Picosecond to Millisecond Dynamics

    Author : Magnus Borgström; Leif Hammarström; Jan Davidsson; Sebastiano Campagna; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Physical chemistry; Artificial photosynthesis; Electron transfer; Energy transfer; Ruthenium; Manganese; Charge-separated state; Donor-acceptor; Fysikalisk kemi; Physical chemistry; Fysikalisk kemi;

    Abstract : This thesis describes an interdisciplinary project, where the aim is to mimic the initial reactions in photosynthesis. In photosynthesis, the absorption of light is followed by the formation of charge-separated states. The energy stored in these charge-separated states is further used for the oxidation of water and reduction of carbon dioxide. READ MORE
