  1. 1. Pair production of Higgs bosons in the final state with bottom quarks and τ leptons in the ATLAS experiment : Search results using LHC Run 2 data and prospect studies at the HL-LHC

    Author : Petar Bokan; Arnaud Ferrari; Stan Lai; Richard Brenner; Markus Klute; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Higgs boson pair production; ATLAS; LHC; HL-LHC; particle physics; Fysik med inriktning mot elementarpartikelfysik; Physics with specialization in Elementary Particle Physics;

    Abstract : After the discovery of the Higgs boson, the ultimate test of the electroweak symmetry breaking and the Standard Model (SM) of particle physics is to establish evidence of Higgs boson self-coupling, which can be achieved by searching for pair production of Higgs bosons. In addition, many theories beyond the SM predict heavy resonances that could decay into pairs of Higgs bosons. READ MORE

  2. 2. Design and Evaluation of Affective Serious Games for Emotion Regulation Training

    Author : Petar Jerčić; Blekinge Tekniska Högskola; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : Emotions are thought to be a key factor that critically influences human decision-making. Emotion regulation can help to mitigate emotion related decision biases and eventually lead to a better decision performance. READ MORE

  3. 3. The Effects of Emotions and Their Regulation on Decision-making Performance in Affective Serious Games

    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Serious Games; Game Design; Emotions; Biofeedback; Emotion-Regulation; Decision-Making;

    Abstract : Emotions are thought to be one of the key factors that critically influence human decision-making. Emotion-regulation can help to mitigate emotion-related decision biases and eventually lead to a better decision performance. READ MORE

  4. 4. The role of RNA in prion aggregation and disease

    Author : Petar Stefanov Kovachev; Suparna Sanyal; Per Jemth; Magnus Wolf-Watz; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Molekylär cellbiologi; Molecular Cellbiology;

    Abstract : As humanity evolved to witness an exceptionally high standard of living, Alzheimer’s, cancer and diabetes gradually replaced infections as the main limiting factors in longevity. It is both disturbing and captivating that such degenerative conditions are caused by the most ubiquitous biomolecule – the protein. READ MORE

  5. 5. Crowdsensing-driven Route Optimisation Algorithms for Smart Urban Mobility

    Author : Petar Mrazovic; Mihhail Matskin; Anne Håkansson; Josep Luis Larriba-Pey; Roman Dumitru; KTH; []
