  2. 17. Regiocontrol in the Heck-reaction and fast fluorous chemistry

    Author : Kristofer Olofsson; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Pharmaceutical chemistry; palladium; Heck-koppling; regiokontroll; MAO-hämmare; ssao-hämmare; mikrovågskemi; Farmaceutisk kemi; Pharmaceutical chemistry; Farmaceutisk kemi; Organic Pharmaceutical Chemistry; organisk farmaceutisk kemi;

    Abstract : The palladium-catalysed Heck-reaction has been utilised in organic synthesis, where the introduction of aryl groups at the internal, β-carbon of different allylic substrates has been achieved with high regioselectivity.The β-stabilising effect of silicon enhances the regiocontrol in the internal arylation of allyltrimethylsilane, while a coordination between palladium and nitrogen induces very high regioselectivities in the arylation of N,N-dialkylallylamines and the Boc-protected allylamine, producing β-arylated arylethylamines, which are of interest for applications in medicinal chemistry. 3. 18. Capillary electroseparations in pharmaceutical analysis of basic drugs and related substances

    Author : Anna Maria Enlund; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Pharmaceutical chemistry; Farmaceutisk kemi; Pharmaceutical chemistry; Farmaceutisk kemi; analytisk farmaceutisk kemi; Analytical Pharmaceutical Chemistry;

    Abstract : Capillary electroseparation methods are exciting new techniques with very broad application areas and vast potential in pharmaceutical and biomedical analysis. To improve the limit of detection (LOD) capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) has been combined with isotachophoretic (ITP) preconcentration in a single capillary. READ MORE

  5. 20. Chiral Separation of Amines by Non-Aqueous Capillary Electrophoresis using Low Molecular Weight Selectors

    Author : Ylva Hedeland; Curt Pettersson; Ulf Bondesson; Lars Blomberg; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Pharmaceutical chemistry; Chiral Separation; Non-Aqueous Capillary Electrophoresis; Enantioresolution; Electro-osmotic Flow; Pharmaceuticals; Enantiomeric Amines; Low Molecular Weight Selector; Farmaceutisk kemi; Kemi med inriktning mot analytisk kemi; Chemistry with specialization in Analytical Chemistry; Analytical Pharmaceutical Chemistry; Analytisk farmaceutisk kemi;

    Abstract : Three chiral selectors (diketogulonic acid, benzoxycarbonylglycylproline and ketopinic acid) have been introduced for enantioseparation of pharmacologically active amines in non-aqueous capillary electrophoresis. The use of organic solvents, instead of aqueous buffers in the background electrolyte facilitated ion-pair formation between the analytes and the chiral selectors. READ MORE
