3. Mathematical Tools Applied in Computational Electromagnetics for a Biomedical Application and Antenna Analysis
Abstract : To ensure a high level of safety and reliability of electronic/electric systems EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) tests together with computational techniques are used. In this thesis, mathematical modeling and computational electromagnetics are applied to mainly two case studies. READ MORE

4. Managing change in performance measures within a manufacturing context
Abstract : Even though the literature available within the field of performance measurement and management (PMM) is extensive, a gap exists regarding how change is managed in performance measures (PM). This gap is corroborated by the empirical data underlining that only a few organisations have mechanisms in place for managing PM change. READ MORE

5. Phosphine ligands with triamine functionality - preparation and application in catalysis
Abstract : Incorporation of the triamine, bis(2-diethylaminoethyl) amine as a side chain substituent on triphenylphosphine, (2S,4S)-4-diphenylphosphino-2-diphenylphosphino-methylpyrrolidine (PPM) or (R,R)-3,4-bis(diphenylphosphin)pyrrolidine (Pyrphos) gives the three new amphiphilic ligands N3P, N3PPM and N3-Pyrphos respectively. Because of the triamine functionality the distribution of the ligands and their complexes between water and an organic solvent is controlled by the pH of the aqueous phase. READ MORE
