21. Studies of Nuclear Matter under Extreme Conditions: Heavy-Ion Interactions at Ultra-Relativistic Energies
Abstract : The charged particle production in ultra-relativistic nucleus-nucleus collisions in the energy range 4-200 A GeV has been studied. Two different experimental techniques have been utilized: nuclear emulsions and Multi-Step Avalanche Chambers. READ MORE

22. Electrostatic Interactions in Coarse-Grained Simulations : Implementations and Applications
Abstract : Electrostatic interactions between charged species play a prominent role in determining structures and states of physical system, leading to important technological and biological applications. In coarse-grained simulations, accurate description of electrostatic interactions is crucial in addressing physical phenomena at larger spatial and longer temporal scales. READ MORE

23. Modeling of dielectrophoresis in micro and nano systems
Abstract : This thesis presents models and simulations of dielectrophoretic separation of micro and nano particles. The fluid dynamics involved and the dielectric properties of water inside single-walled carbon nanotube are studied as well. READ MORE

24. Solar Wind Proton Interactions with Lunar Magnetic Anomalies and Regolith
Abstract : The lunar space environment is shaped by the interaction between the Moon and the solar wind. In the present thesis, we investigate two aspects of this interaction, namely the interaction between solar wind protons and lunar crustal magnetic anomalies, and the interaction between solar wind protons and lunar regolith. 25. QCD Phenomenology of Heavy Particle Dynamics
Abstract : In this thesis the phenomenology of Quantum Chromo Dynamics (QCD) is studied in a variety of circumstances from both perturbative and non-perturbative perspectives. The main emphasis is on the production and hadronization of heavy particles, specifically heavy quarks, gauge bosons, leptoquarks and supersymmetric particles. READ MORE
