1. Immobilizing catalysts on textiles : case of zerovalent iron and glucose oxidase enzyme
Abstract : Catalytic systems are one of the most effective technologies of modern chemical processes. The system uses a molecule called ‘catalyst’ that is capable of catalyzing a reaction without being produced or consumed during the process. READ MORE

2. Characterization, quantification and removal of potential pathogens from stallion semen
Abstract : In Sweden, equine artificial insemination is most frequently carried out with liquid semen rather than frozen semen. Many factors affect sperm quality during semen storage, including the presence of bacteria and addition of antibiotics. READ MORE

3. Closing the Loop by Combining UASB Reactor and Reactive Bed Filetr Technology for wastewater Treatment : Modelling and Practical Approaches
Abstract : A laboratory-scale upflow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) reactor followed by a packed bed reactor (PBR) filled with Sorbulite® in the lower part and Polonite® in the upper part was used to treat household wastewater in a 50-week experiment. A model was developed to describe the performance of the UASB reactor, including mass transfer through the film around anaerobic granules, intra-particle diffusion and bioconversion of the substrate. 4. Surface expression using the AIDA autotransporter : Towards live vaccines and whole-cell biocatalysis
Abstract : The area of surface expression has gathered a lot of interest from research groups all over the world and much work is performed in the area. Autotransporters have been used for surface expression in Gram-negative bacteria. READ MORE
