  1. 1. Automatic Parallelization of Simulation Code from Equation Based Simulation Languages

    Author : Peter Aronsson; Peter Fritzson; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; state-of-the-art equation; object oriented modeling; automatic parallelization tool; data dependency graph; clustering algorithms; Computer science; Datavetenskap;

    Abstract : Modern state-of-the-art equation based object oriented modeling languages such as Modelica have enabled easy modeling of large and complex physical systems. When such complex models are to be simulated, simulation tools typically perform a number of optimizations on the underlying set of equations in the modeled system, with the goal of gaining better simulation performance by decreasing the equation system size and complexity. 2. 2. Automatic Parallelization of Equation-Based Simulation Programs

    Author : Peter Aronsson; Peter Fritzson; Christoph Kessler; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Heavy-duty simulation; Parallel computers; Automatic parallelization; Clustering; Computer science; Datavetenskap;

    Abstract : Modern equation-based object-oriented modeling languages which have emerged during the past decades make it easier to build models of large and complex systems. The increasing size and complexity of modeled systems requires high performance execution of the simulation code derived from such models. READ MORE

  3. 3. Skilda världar : Samtida föreställningar om kulturarvsplatser

    Author : Joakim Andersson; Peter Aronsson; Annika Alzén; Roger Jansson; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Uses of history; communication; mediation of history; Swedish cultural heritage preservation; cultural heritage; cultural tourism; public archaeology; Linnés Råshult; Slättbygdsprojektet; Historiebruk; kommunikation; historieförmedling; Svensk kulturmiljövård; kulturarv; kulturturism; publik arkeologi; Linnés Råshult; Slättbygdsprojektet; Cultural heritage and cultural production; Kulturarv och kulturproduktion;

    Abstract : Kulturarvsplatser kan betraktas på olika sätt av olika människor. Samtidigt finns kol-lektiva föreställningar om hur en kulturarvsplats bör förstås. Mellan dessa utgångs-punkter sker förhandlingar om kulturarvsplatsens betydelse och värde. READ MORE

  4. 4. The workings of co-operation : A comparative study of consumer co-operative organisation in Britain and Sweden, 1860-1970

    Author : Katarina Friberg; Peter Aronsson; Mary Hilson; Växjö universitet; []
    Keywords : HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; consumer co-operation; organisational logic; consumer demand; comparative method; retail trade; legislation for co-operation; household economy; History; Historia;

    Abstract : This thesis explores the workings of co-operation. It proceeds by way of a two-case comparative study, where the units of comparison are local consumer co-operatives: the Newcastle upon Tyne Co-operative Society Ltd., situated in the north-east of England, and Konsumentföreningen Solidar in Malmö, in the south-west of Sweden. Abstract : The objectives of this study are to critically map and analyse past and current  discussions, negotiations and social processes that take place and relate to conditions created by living in- or monitoring the World Heritage City Angra do Heroísmo in the Azores, Portugal. Based on ethnographic fieldwork and qualitative interviews with the stakeholders in the city, the purpose has been to study how, and with what result and consequences, contested values, interests, rhetoric and powers are mobilized and made into dynamic forces for these stakeholders.
