  1. 11. Distributed Photovoltaics, Household Electricity Use and Electric Vehicle Charging : Mathematical Modeling and Case Studies

    Author : Joakim Munkhammar; Joakim Widén; Ewa Wäckelgård; Jesper Rydén; Peter Lund; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Distributed Photovoltaics; Household Electricity Use; Electric Vehicle Charging; Markov Chain Modeling; Probability Distribution Modeling; Data Analysis; Self-Consumption; Grid Interaction.; Engineering Science; Teknisk fysik;

    Abstract : Technological improvements along with falling prices on photovoltaic (PV) panels and electric vehicles (EVs) suggest that they might become more common in the future. The introduction of distributed PV power production and EV charging has a considerable impact on the power system, in particular at the end-user in the electricity grid. READ MORE

  2. 12. National Energy System Modelling of Industry : Optimising the Transition Towards Carbon Neutrality

    Author : Erik Sandberg; Anna Krook-Riekkola; Andrea Toffolo; Åsa Lindman; Peter Lund; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Energiteknik; Energy Engineering;

    Abstract : Industry is a major user of energy and emitter of fossil CO2. At the same time, Sweden targets net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2045. Current policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate climate change, and the transition of the energy system it requires, will present major challenges for industry. READ MORE

  3. 13. Dual-ion Conducting Nanocompoiste for Low Temperature Solid Oxide Fuel Cell

    Author : Xiaodi Wang; Mamoun Muhammed; Zhu Bin; Peter Lund; KTH; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Fuel cell; Nano; Composite; Conducting; Electrolyte; SRA - Energy; SRA - Energi;

    Abstract : Solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) are considered as one of the most promising power generation technologies due to their high energy conversion efficiency, fuel flexibility and reduced pollution. There is a broad interest in reducing the operating temperature of SOFCs. READ MORE

  4. 14. Development of Natural Mineral Composites for Low-Temperature Solid Oxide Fuel Cells

    Author : Chen Xia; Andrew R. Martin; Peter Lund; Yongdan Li; KTH; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Natural hematite; Natural rare-earth; LT-SOFCs; composite electrolytes; material characterization; conductivity; electrochemical performance.; Chemical Engineering; Kemiteknik; Teknisk materialvetenskap; Materials Science and Engineering;

    Abstract : Solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) have attracted growing attention worldwide because of their high conversion efficiency and low emissions when paired with clean fuel sources. Currently, reducing the temperature of SOFC to a low-temperature (LT) range is a mainstream trend of SOFC research. READ MORE

  5. 15. Global Governance of AIDS : Partnerships with Civil Soviety

    Author : Peter Söderholm; Statsvetenskapliga institutionen; []
    Keywords : SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; AIDS; Global Governance; sovereignty; partnerships; Political and administrative sciences; nongovernmental organization; intergovernmental organization; Statsvetenskap; förvaltningskunskap;

    Abstract : The global governance of AIDS is dependent for its success on the concerted efforts of actors from both local and global levels, thus challenging the current international organization based on state sovereignty. The study seeks to understand the processes behind the creation of partnerships among the many different nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) active in AIDS politics and the intergovernmental organizations (IGOs) charged with combatting the epidemic.
