1. Heat transfer through a well insulated external wooden frame wall : an investigation of the effects of normal defects in the insulation resulting from incident wind and air flow through the wall
Abstract : The heat requirement of a building can turn out to be greater than was calculated at the design stage. The reason for this may be that heat transport though the building envelope is greater than expected. This in turn can be due to the structure not fulfilling the design requirements in respect of windtightness and airtightness. READ MORE

2. New opportunities provided by the Swedish electricity meter reform
Abstract : The reduction of the impact of energy consumption is a priority issue and a major challenge that concerns every country in the world. This is a complex task that needs to be tackled from several angles in the search for areas where optimizations and savings can be made. READ MORE

3. Aquaporin homologues in Norway spruce (Picea abies)
Abstract : The recent discovery of aquaporins - proteins that mediate bidirectional passage of water over membranes - provides a molecular basis for the underlying processes in plant water relations. In plants, aquaporins are found in plasma membranes and in vacuolar membranes (tonoplasts) and are suggested to participate in dynamic operations such as cell elongation, osmotic regulation, and long-distance transport.
