    Abstract : The photographic archive of the American New Deal agency Farm Security Administration (created 1935-1943) occupies an important place in the history of photography as an exemplar of documentary photography and as symbol of the Great Depression. This dissertation is a historiographic study of this narrative of FSA photography, which investigates the archive's monumental position in the historical narration and demonstrates other possible readings.     Abstract : In an area of rapid land uplift the geomorphological evolution of the glaciofluvial island of Sandgrunnorna, 25 km SE Luleå, in the Bothnian Bay, is discussed from old maps, air photographs and field studies. The island were marked on a map for the first time in 1790, but the highest parts can be estimated to have reached the sea surface about 100 years earlier. READ MORE

    Abstract : Cataract is the most prevalent blinding eye disease. Scheimpflug photography is an objective method for documentation of lens nuclear opacity. Using the Scheimpflug slit-lamp technique, a photograph, in focus from the anterior surface of the cornea to the posterior surface of the lens, can be obtained. READ MORE
