  1. 1. 3D property rights : an analysis of key factors based on international experience

    Author : Jenny Paulsson; Hans Mattsson; Jaap Zevenbergen; KTH; []
    Keywords : SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; 3D property; property rights; condominium; apartment ownership; flat ownership; strata title; stratum; LAW JURISPRUDENCE; RÄTTSVETENSKAP JURIDIK;

    Abstract : The objectives of this thesis are to establish the fundamental principles in the field of 3D property rights by studying such systems in different countries with a particular focus on management questions, to systemize the acquired knowledge and demonstrate different ways of dealing with key factors essential to a well-functioning 3D property rights system. A theoretical background to the 3D property concept is given by presenting proposals as to a definition of 3D property and a classification of the primary forms of 3D property rights examined into specific types and categories, as well as an overview of international 3D property use. 2. 2. The plurisubharmonic Mergelyan property

    Author : Lisa Hed; Urban Cegrell; Anders Fällström; Per Åhag; Jan Wiegerinck; Umeå universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Complex Monge-Ampère operator; approximation; plurisubharmonic function; subextension; Mergelyan property; plurisubharmonic function on compact sets; Jensen measures; Mathematics; matematik;

    Abstract : In this thesis, we study two different kinds of approximation of plurisubharmonic functions. The first one is a Mergelyan type approximation for plurisubharmonic functions. READ MORE

  3. 3. Property Maintenance : Concepts and determinants

    Author : Henry Muyingo; Hans Lind; Göran Lindahl; KTH; []
    Keywords : Housing maintenance; property management; real estate; housing companies;

    Abstract : Introduction Strategic property management aims at balancing the question of how the needed space is to be secured, maintained, increased or disposed of in a cost effective manner under a mixture of decisions and actions. In recent years, the interest in building maintenance has increased as more and more of the housing stock built after the Second World War is in need of major renovation. READ MORE

  4. 4. Linear and Non-linear Deformations of Stochastic Processes

    Author : Gustaf Strandell; Maciej Klimek; Richard Aron; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Mathematical analysis; Riesz bases and frames; Weakly stationary stochastic processes; Set-valued analysis; Matematisk analys; Mathematical analysis; Analys;

    Abstract : This thesis consists of three papers on the following topics in functional analysis and probability theory: Riesz bases and frames, weakly stationary stochastic processes and analysis of set-valued stochastic processes. In the first paper we investigate Uniformly Bounded Linearly Stationary stochastic processes from the point of view of the theory of Riesz bases. READ MORE

  5. 5. External Stakeholder Analysis in Construction Project Management

    Abstract : The planning and construction of a facility can affect several interests. Positive effects are, for instance, better communications, better housing and a higher standard of living. However, construction projects inevitably bring varying degrees of deterioration and change at the local level, not least at the construction site. READ MORE
