  1. 1. Applications of Diversity and the Self-Attention Mechanism in Neural Networks

    Author : Axel Berg; Matematik LTH; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; point cloud; self-attention; keyword spotting; deep learning; computer vision; machine learning; label diversity;

    Abstract : This thesis covers three contributions in applications of neural networks. The first is related to diversity and ensemble learning, while the other two cover novel applications of the self-attention mechanism. An important aspect of training a neural network is the choice of objective function. READ MORE

  2. 2. Bioelectrochemical Applications of Reactions Catalyzed by Immobilized Enzymes

    Author : Xiao-Jing Tang; Centrum för analys och syntes; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Acetate Kinase.; NAD NADH recycling; Enzyme Electrodes; Enzyme reactors; Enzyme Immobilization; Electrochemical detection; Flow Injection Analysis; Analytical chemistry; Analytisk kemi;

    Abstract : The sensitivity of biosensors can be increased substantially by incorporation in a substrate recycling scheme. Based on the amplification of NAD+/NADH by the recycling reaction catalyzed by glycerol dehydrogenase (GDH) and diaphorase, NAD+/NADH can be determined amperometrically with around 1000 times higher sensitivity than for the substrate sensing mode.
