  1. 1. Hodgkin Lymphoma : Studies of Advanced Stages, Relapses and the Relation to Non-Hodgkin Lymphomas

    Author : Rose-Marie Amini; Volker Diehl; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Oncology; Hodgkin lymphoma; advanced stages; relapse; p53; EBV; Rb; cell line; Onkologi; Oncology; Onkologi; Oncology; onkologi;

    Abstract : The relationship between Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) is not entirely elucidated and a clonal relation may be present more often than previously believed. Mechanisms of tumour progression and resistance to therapy are poorly understood.Between 1974 and 1994 all individuals in Sweden with both HL and NHL were identified. READ MORE

  2. 2. Prognostic signficance of tumor cell markers in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma with special emphasis on lymphoma localization

    Author : Maysaa Abdulla; Rose-Marie Amini; Gunilla Enblad; Wolfram Klapper; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the most common type of high-grade B-cell lymphoma with different clinical, morphological, immunophenotypical, and molecular features. DLBCL is curable in 60-70% of patients when treated with standard immunochemotherapy R-CHOP (rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine and prednisone). READ MORE

  3. 3. Hodgkin Lymphoma in children, adolescents and young adults

    Author : Annika Englund; Gustaf Ljungman; Gunilla Enblad; Rose-Marie Amini; Daniel Molin; Ingrid Øra; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Hodgkin; pediatric; adolescent; young adults; microenvironment; eosinophils; mast cells; macrophages; Sweden; late adverse effects; Pediatrik; Pediatrics; Medicinsk vetenskap; Medical Science; Oncology; Onkologi;

    Abstract : Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) is a heterogeneous condition varying from engaging one single lymph node site to a widespread condition. The prognosis with contemporary treatment is excellent for the vast majority. However, the treatment might cause severe late adverse effects in a proportion of the affected individuals. READ MORE

  4. 4. Immunologic Markers in the Tumor Microenvironment of Classical Hodgkin Lymphoma

    Author : Alex R. Gholiha; Gunilla Enblad; Rose-Marie Amini; Peter Hollander; Gustaf Hedström; Arjan Diepstra; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Tumor microenvironment; immunohistochemistry; immune checkpoints; Plasma cells; IL-6 cytokine; Proteomics; CD47.;

    Abstract : In classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL), cytokine regulation and cellular composition of the tumor microenvironment (TME) is crucial for tumor cell survival. In paper I, we examined the presence of CD138+ plasma cells and IgG4+ plasma cells in diagnostic cHL biopsies with immunohistochemistry (IHC). READ MORE

  5. 5. Hodgkin Lymphoma – an Interplay Between Tumour Cell and Microenvironment

    Author : Ingrid Glimelius; Gunilla Enblad; Daniel Molin; Rose-Marie Amini; Marie Fischer; Volker Diehl; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICINE; MEDICIN; Oncology; onkologi;

    Abstract : Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) is a malignant disorder characterised by few tumour cells surrounded by a massive infiltrate of inflammatory cells, fibrosis, and microvessels. Therefore, it is a good model in which to study the interplay between tumour cells and the microenvironment. READ MORE
