  1. 1. Studies on the enantioselective disposition of amlodipine : A challenge in bioanalysis

    University dissertation from Linköping : Linköpings universitet

    Author : Martin Josefsson; Martin Ahnoff; [1996]
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; MEDICINE; MEDICIN;

    Abstract : To study the disposition of the enantiomers of the calcium channel blocker amlodipine in human plasma, an enantioselective high performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) assay was developed. Several HPLC techniques such as chiral ion-pair forming, chiral derivatisation and direct separation on chiral columns were evaluated. READ MORE

  2. 2. Climate in the eastern Mediterranean during the Holocene and beyond – A Peloponnesian perspective

    University dissertation from Stockholm : Department of Physical Geography and Quaternary Geology, Stockholm University

    Author : Martin Finné; Karin Holmgren; Hanna S. Sundqvist; Georgia Destouni; Neil Roberts; [2014]
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Stable isotopes; U-Th dating; stalagmites; climate variability; flooding history; eastern Mediterranean; southern Greece; Holocene; Pleistocene; naturgeografi; Physical Geography;

    Abstract : This thesis contributes increased knowledge about climate variability during the late Quaternary in the eastern Mediterranean. Results from a paleoclimate review reveal that regional wetter conditions from 6000 to 5400 years BP were replaced by a less wet period from 5400 to 4600 years BP and to fully arid conditions around 4600 years BP. 3. 3. Striping on flexo post-printed corrugated board

    University dissertation from Sundsvall : Mittuniversitetet

    Author : Martin Holmvall; Tetsu Uesaka; Joseph S Aspler; [2007]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Kemiteknik; TECHNOLOGY Chemical engineering; TEKNIKVETENSKAP Kemiteknik;

    Abstract : Striping is the most common print non-uniformity on corrugated board. It is defined as periodic print density and/or print gloss variations parallel to the flutes. Corrugated boards are mainly printed with flexography, making striping a major concern for the flexographic post-printing industry. READ MORE

  4. 4. Electro-Acoustic and Electronic Applications Utilizing Thin Film Aluminium Nitride

    University dissertation from Sundsvall : Mittuniversitetet

    Author : David Michael Martin; J. Olsson; I. Katardjiev; S. Gevorgian; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; AlN; FBAR; FPAR; CMP; SOI; Nickel Silicide; Wafer Bonding; TECHNOLOGY Electrical engineering; electronics and photonics Electronics; TEKNIKVETENSKAP Elektroteknik; elektronik och fotonik Elektronik; Elektronik; Electronics;

    Abstract : In recent years there has been a huge increase in the growth of communication systems such as mobile phones, wireless local area networks(WLAN), satellite navigation and various other forms of wireless data communication that have made analogue frequency control a key issue. The increase in frequency spectrum crowding and the increase of frequency into microwave region, along with the need for minimisation and capacity improvement, has shown the need for the development of high performance, miniature, on-chip filters operating in the low to medium GHz frequency range. 5. 5. Evolution and taxonomy of Cambrian arthropods from Greenland and Sweden

    University dissertation from Uppsala : Acta Universitatis Upsaliensis

    Author : Martin Stein; John S. Peel; Dieter Waloszek; David J. Siveter; Reinhardt M. Kristensen; David L. Bruton; [2008]
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Cambrian; Arthropods; Trilobites; Evolution; Greenland; Sweden; NATURAL SCIENCES Earth sciences Exogenous earth sciences Historical geology and palaeontology; NATURVETENSKAP Geovetenskap Exogen geovetenskap Historisk geologi och paleontologi;

    Abstract : Arthropods have a rich fossil record spanning the Phanerozoic. Biomineralized forms such as the extinct trilobites are particularly common and are proven index fossils for biostratigraphy. Forms with an unmineralized cuticle are more rare, preserved only in so called konservat lagerstätten. READ MORE
