17. On laminins and laminin receptors and their roles in regeneration and myelination of the peripheral nerve
Abstract : One important prerequisite for successful axon regeneration is that appropriate extracellular molecules are available for outgrowing axons and that receptors for such molecules are found in the regenerating neuron. Laminin associated integrin subunits alpha3, alpha6, alpha7 and beta1 mRNAs are here shown to be present in rat motoneurons, and in the case of integrin subunits alpha7 and gamma1, also immunohistochemical (IHC) labelling of the proteins was demonstrated. 18. Sensory neurons : stem cells and development
Abstract : The sensory nervous system is the only means we have of communicating with the surrounding world. The neurons responsible for the sensation of pain, touch, the ability to know the position of our limbs and part of maintenance of body posture are located in the dorsal root ganglia (DRG). READ MORE

19. Immunocytochemical studies of cutaneous nerves in human normal and prurigo nodularis skin
Abstract : Cutaneous nerves may regulate the immune system and be involved in inflammatory events of the skin. Prurigo nodularis is a skin disease which histologically reveals a massive neural hyperplasia and a local inflammation in the lesional skin. READ MORE

20. Dental mesenchymal stem cells
Abstract : Mesenchymal stem cells have been found in various tissues and act as source for renewal and repair. The mouse incisor tooth continuously grows throughout life, implicating that there are stem cell niches constantly contributing with cells. The composition of these stem cell niches is not fully understood. READ MORE
