21. Microscopic Dynamics and Structure of some Polymer-based Electrolytes
Abstract : The electrolyte is a key component in high-capacity lithium batteries and there is a large demand for improved materials to increase the performance. Polymer-based electrolytes offer advantages in the design of safer and lighter batteries. READ MORE

22. Structure-dynamics relationships in perovskite oxyhydrides and alkali silanides
Abstract : This thesis focuses on investigations of the local structure and dynamics of two classes of hydrogen-containing, energy relevant, materials; perovskite type oxyhydrides BaTiO3-xHx and alkali silanides ASiH3 (A = K and Rb). In the area of oxyhydrides, which are of relevance for the development of electrolytes in fuel cells and batteries, the aim is to elucidate the dynamics and electronic character of the hydrogen species in the materials. 23. Structure and Motion Estimation in Rigid Body Perspective Dynamic Systems
Abstract : Abstract This thesis concerns different aspects of recursive estimation of structure and motion in dynamic rigid body perspective systems, where the three-dimensional position of observed object feature points are expressed as states in a system of deterministic or stochastic differential equations describing the object motion, combined with a set of output equations in the form of two-dimensional perspective measurements obtained using a single camera. Firstly, a number of novel hybrid matching constraints are derived for the recovery of motion parameters in a rigid body perspective system where the measurements can be considered as arriving at closely spaced time instants. 24. Learning and Optimizing Camera Pose
Abstract : Plenty of computer vision applications involve assessing the position and orientation, i.e. the pose , of one or several cameras, including object pose estimation, visual localization, and structure-from-motion. READ MORE

25. Applications in Monocular Computer Vision using Geometry and Learning : Map Merging, 3D Reconstruction and Detection of Geometric Primitives
Abstract : As the dream of autonomous vehicles moving around in our world comes closer, the problem of robust localization and mapping is essential to solve. In this inherently structured and geometric problem we also want the agents to learn from experience in a data driven fashion. READ MORE
