    Abstract : The objective of this thesis is to evaluate a generic process for fabrication and characterization of the Superconductive coplanar waveguide (CPW) resonators. Superconductive CPW resonators with various lengths and shapes are designed to investigate their electrical and magnetic properties as well as resonance properties and sensitivities. READ MORE

  2. 2. Characteristic properties of two-dimensional superconductors close to the phase transition in zero magnetic field

    University dissertation from Stockholm : Universitetsservice US AB

    Author : Kateryna Medvedyeva; Umeå universitet.; [2003]
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Physics; Fysik; superconductor; two dimensions; phase transition; vortex; currentvoltage characteristics; complex conductivity; scaling; critical exponents; XY-type models; dynamics; NATURAL SCIENCES Physics; NATURVETENSKAP Fysik; fysik; Physics;

    Abstract : The main focus of this thesis lies on the critical properties of twodimensional (2D) superconductors in zero magnetic field. Simulations based on variants of the 2D XY model are shown to give characteristic features close to the phase transition which agree qualitatively with experimental data. READ MORE

  5. 5. Investigating Hydrogenous Behavior of Zintl Phases Interstitial Hydrides, Polyanionic Hydrides, Complex Hydrides, Oxidative Decomposition

    University dissertation from Stockholm : Department of Materials and Environmental Chemistry (MMK), Stockholm University

    Author : Verina Kranak; Stockholms universitet.; [2017]
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Zintl phases; Hydrogenous Zintl phases; Polyanionic Zintl phases; Interstitial Zintl phases; oorganisk kemi; Inorganic Chemistry;

    Abstract : This thesis is an investigation into the hydrogenous behavior of Zintl phases. Zintl phases are comprised of an active metal (i.e alkali, alkaline earth, and rare earth) and a p-block element. The discussion gives an overview of the influence hydrogen affects the electronic and geometric structure of Zintl phases and subsequent properties. READ MORE
