1. P-T evolotion and High-temperature deformation of Precambrian eclogite, Sveconorwegian orogen
Abstract : The 1.1-0.9 Ga Sveconorwegian orogen is one of several Grenvillian-aged orogenic belts that mark the amalgamation of supercontinent Rodinia. The highest-pressure rocks in the Sveconorwegian orogen are eclogites in the Eastern Segment (SW Sweden). READ MORE

2. Geochronology of Tectonothermal Events in the Parautochthonous Eastern Segment of the Sveconorwegian (Grenvillian) Orogen, Southwestern Sweden
Abstract : Timing of deformation and metamorphism yield important information for understanding the development of orogenic processes and correlation of mobile belts and continents. This thesis adds new geochronological data constraining the age of protoliths and events of reworking in the frontal region of the c. 1.2-0. READ MORE

3. Metamorphism in the roots of mountain belts and its effect on rock technical properties : A case study of the Eastern Segment, Sveconorwegian orogen
Abstract : Deciphering the metamorphic evolution of the roots of mountain belts is essential for understanding deep tectonic processes involved in mountain building. The Sveconorwegian orogen in southwestern Scandinavia, formed during the Rodinia assembly in the transition between the Mesoproterozoic and Neoproterozoic Eras, has been exhumed and provides access to interior deep structural levels of the ancient mountain belt. 4. Sveconorwegian orogenesis in the southwestern Baltic Shield - Zircon geochronology and tectonothermal setting of orthogneisses in SW Sweden
Abstract : The Mylonite zone (MZ) is a prominent late-Sveconorwegian lithological terrane boundary in the SW Baltic Shield along which large-scale crustal block movements took place during the Sveconorwegian orogeny. The southern section of the MZ also defines a conspicuous metamorphic break separating upper amphibolite and high-pressure granulite facies rocks in the parautochthonous Eastern Segment (ES), from middle amphibolite facies rocks in the overlying Western Segment (WS). 5. Sveconorwegian metallogenesis in Sweden
Abstract : Two main ore types are found in the Sveconorwegian Orogen in southwestern Sweden (Southwest Scandinavian Domain). One of them comprises stratabound Cu mineralizations in the Dal group, located west of lake Vänern. READ MORE
