2. Improving immunogenicity of hepatitis B and C viral proteins for vaccine design
Abstract : The hepatitis B and C virus (HBV, HCV) both presents a global health challenge, with an estimated 350 million individuals chronically infected with HBV and over 200 million infected with HCV. Reported cases of HBV and HCV have declined significantly due to screening of blood products and the availability of HBV vaccination. READ MORE

3. Radiolabeling and Biotinylation of Internalizing Monoclonal Antibody Chimeric BR96: Potential Use for Extracorporeal Immunoadsorption
Abstract : In this thesis, methodology of radiolabeling and simultaneous biotinylation for internalizing monoclonal antibody (MAb) chimeric BR96 (chiBR96) have been investigated by using three element groups of potential therapeutic radionuclides iodine, indium and rhenium, and their different labeling methods. The biodistribution and kinetics of biotinylated and radiolabeled chiBR96 have been studied in colon carcinoma isografted rats. READ MORE

4. Excitotoxic neurodegeneration in mouse brain : roles of immune cells and cytokines
Abstract : Excitotoxic neurodegeneration is a common feature in many neurological diseases. However, the roles of immune cells and cytokines in this process are unclear. To address this issue, we used knockout (KO) mice deficient in various immune cells or cytokines in our studies. READ MORE
