16. Development of traffic conflicts technique for different environments: A comparative study of pedestrian conflicts in Sweden and Jordan
Abstract : This study is aimed at improving the current Swedish Traffic conflicts Technique [TCT] in relation to vehicle-pedestrian conflicts. The present definition of conflict severity appears to produce less severe conflicts than they might be, particularly if the relevant road user (RRU) is the pedestrian. READ MORE

19. Studies of phases structurally related to hexagonal tungsten bronze in the system ATO₃ - WO₃ (A = K, Rb, Cs; T = V, Nb, Ta)
Abstract : The oxidized analogues (bronzoids) of tungsten bronzes in the systems dTO^-WO^ with A = K, Rb, Cs; T = Ti, V, Nb, Ta and A/W < 1 are reviewed with emphasis on the K-Nb and Cs-Nb systems. The different phases observed in these systems are isostructural with intergrowth tungsten bronze (ITB), hexagonal tungsten bronze (HTB), tetragonal tungsten bronze (TTB) and pyrochlore. READ MORE

20. Novel Interstitial Mg–TM (TM = Ti, Zr, Hf, V, Nb and Ta) Hydrides with an FCC Structure and CaNiH3 with a Perovskite Structure
Abstract : This thesis is focused on structural investigations of novel interstitial ternary alkaline-earth–transition metal hydrides formed by immiscible metals that are held together by the presence of hydrogen atoms. The contents are divided in two parts: Metastable Mg-based hydrides, in which transition-metal additives improve hydrogen storage properties; and a new Ca–Ni hydride, CaNiH3, with a perovskite structure, in which hydrogen enables a Ca:Ni =1:1 ratio although no such alloy composition exists.
