6. User-Centred Design and Technology-Mediated Services- Identifying and Addressing Challenges by Analysing Activities
Abstract : User-centred design has a focus on designing products to satisfy user needs rather than emanating from a technological starting point. Understanding user needs when developing products is considered a key component to achieve market success today.User-centred design is almost always described as a way to design products that satisfy user needs. 7. Guiding Sustainability Transitions: Backcasting, Experimentation and Social learning
Abstract : Sustainability challenges including climate change, social injustice, resource depletion and biodiversity loss are becoming increasingly apparent. These challenges can be understood as partly resulting from unsustainable socio-technical systems in society, assumed to require transitions to become sustainable in time. READ MORE

8. Up close and personal: How relational dynamics in founding teams are shaped by the context of entrepreneurship
Abstract : Despite increased interest in the phenomena of team-based entrepreneurship, we still don’t know why some teams are more effective than others in their entrepreneurial pursuits. In fact, scholars acknowledge that we have yet to get a firm grasp on what teams ‘are’ in this unique work context, not least because their emotional and relational dynamics remain understudied. 9. Ultra-sensitive measurements of magnetically labelled RCA products in a microfluidic channel using a high-Tc SQUID
Abstract : The development of a nucleic acid (deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), ribonucleic acid (RNA)) bioassay based on magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) with a high-Tc superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) gradiometer as a magnetic readout is described. The specific binding of the MNPs to the target DNA molecules changes the MNPs size distribution and, therefore, the relaxation dynamics and is measured by magnetic ac susceptometry. READ MORE

10. Innovations in nanomaterials for proton exchange membrane fuel cells
Abstract : Hydrogen technologies are rapidly receiving increased attention as it offers a renewable energy alternative to the current petroleum-based fuel infrastructure, considering that continued large-scale use of such fossil fuels will lead to disastrous impacts on our environment. The proton exchange membrane fuel cell should play a significant role in a hydrogen economy since it enables convenient and direct conversion of hydrogen into electricity, thus allowing the use of hydrogen in applications particularly suited for the transportation industry.
