1. The Use of Lignin Derivatives to Improve Selected Paper Properties
READ MORE

2. What's Next? : Organising Complex Product Development with Lean
Abstract : An everyday question asked during complex product development work is, ‘What to do next’? Not just because the development in itself is advanced and integrated, but also because it is planned and performed in large organisations, in difficult projects, and across organisational lines. There have been different approaches to try and reduce the difficulty of having to organise complex product development, primarily through using different kinds of management models. READ MORE

3. Pressure sore etiology - highlighted with optical measurements of the blood flow
Abstract : In line with the quality awareness of good prevention of pressure sores and in treatment of those sores already developed, evaluation of antidecubitus mattresses plays an important role. However, there are shortages in the evaluations performed today, since often interface pressure is the only parameter regarded. READ MORE

4. Deformability of unidirectional prepreg materials
Abstract : To reduce cost of structural composites the development of more efficient manufacturing methods is of great interest. Sheet forming of thermoset prepreg, also known as hot drape forming, has been a promising manufacturing method for decades. An automatic tape layer (ATL) can be used to perform the lay-up in an efficient way. READ MORE

5. Transitional boundary layers caused by free-stream turbulence
Abstract : The present measurement campaign on the free-stream turbulence (FST) induced boundary layer transition scenario has provided a unique set of experimental data, with potential to enhance the understanding of the eect of the free-stream turbulence characteristic length scales on the transition location and not only the turbulence intensity, which has been the focus in most previous studies. Recent investigations where the turbulence intensity has been kept essentially constant, while the integral length scale has been changed, show that the transition location is advanced for increasing length scale.
